A collaboration between Student Centers student employees and professional staff, the By the Green blog was launched in Spring 2020 to capture the vibrant and diverse student life at the University of Delaware. Inspired by the Green--an iconic campus space held dear by generations of students---we captured the student stories, events, groups, initiatives, opportunities, and creative endeavors that define UD campus life.
The blog was written, illustrated and designed by students, for students, with sections for Student Spotlights, Culture & Community stories and Event coverage. The blog also featured the Artist Space, a one-of-a-kind digital gallery, where UD students can submit visual art, photography, film, music, writing and other creative works to be showcased and frequent art competitions for student artists from all walks of life at UD.
